Classes & Awards
The Hope Cup features both Pro and Hunter classes. All individuals and teams must register as a Hunter or Pro and will play on a team that matches their individual standing. Awards will be given to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place highest scoring teams and individuals in both Pro and Hunter classes. Ladies’ Awards will receive 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place individual HOA. Additionally, the HOA winner of each game with receive a $250 cash prize with their award.
Pro Class:
Those classified with National Sporting Clay Association (NSCA) as Master Class, AA, or A Shooters must shoot in the Pro Class. If a team has two or more shooters at this level they must register as Pro Class.
Hunter Class:
All NSCA shooters in B, C, D, or E class and non-NSCA shooters should register as Hunter Class. There can only be one Pro on a Hunter team.
SCOREKEEPER:
Mimi Wilfong has more than 15 years of experience with clay target shooting organizations and competitions. She has served as a USA Shooting Team Member, a USHA Team member, and on the board of the United States Helice Association. In addition, she is involved with educational shooting programs and fundraisers.
Mimi started shooting clay targets when she was 14 in the Texas 4-H program and immediately fell in love with competitive shooting. During high school and her undergraduate program at Texas A&M, she shot on the USA Shooting team, making the National Team in trap. She also began shooting helice and has traveled around the world for competitions. Recently, she has helped to successfully plan and execute the 2017 World Helice Championships at the Dallas Gun Club.
Mimi now serves as the president of the United States Helice Association and in advisory roles with multiple shooting organizations that promote the shooting sports to women and youth. She lives in Irving, Texas, where she works as a strategist. Mimi has a degree in marketing with a minor in communication from Texas A&M, with certificates in retailing and international business, a MBA from the University of Notre Dame, and a Masters in Engineering Management from Southern Methodist University.

SHOOTING GAMES
HELICE
$40 per chance for set of 5 targets (2 tickets)
Shooting Helice requires pure instinct rather than a pre-patterned flight, making it challenging for even the most experienced shooter. Helice is the closest to shooting a live bird without being out in the field with your dog. Each Shooter will shoot a set of 5 targets. The is no limit to the number of times each shooter can try to break all 5 targets. Every perfect 5 set score puts you in the drawing for a $250 cash prize.
SNOOKER
$20 per game (2 shooters at a time)
Snooker is an exciting and competitive game involving two shooters at a time. The game is like shooting a covey rise gone crazy. Each shooter takes on 8 report pairs for 16 targets. Each of the eight clay target throwers is assigned a point value according to the skill level required to hit that target. The highest scoring shooter wins a $250 cash prize. A tie is decided by a shoot off.
INCOMING CROW
$20 per chance for set of 5 targets (2 tickets)
Long Crow Incoming is an exciting opportunity for shooters to test their marksmanship skills against high-flying targets, like Snow Geese or Crows. The game starts at 30 yards, and when the shooter breaks a target, they
move back 10 yards for the next shot. Shooters who break the target from the longest distance are put in a
drawing to win a $250 cash prize.
RISING TEAL
$20 per game
The game mimics a Flushing/Rising Duck at longer and longer distances. It starts at 20 yards and gains 10 yards every time a target is broken, up to 60 yards
TRUE PAIR
$20 per game
The game is all about speed and decision making. Test your reflexes when both birds are launched simultaneously.
All ties for Games and Course HOA will be held starting at 4 pm at Snooker Station below the Club House.
